Hiking Queers and House of Extinction will drag you to a fabulous workshop combining drag, activism and foraging in nature. 💅🥸🌳
We start gathering at Utrecht Lunetten station at 11:00 (in the tunnel under the platforms). From there, we will walk to Amelisweerd where we go for ±1h walk to collect (natural) materials, like branches, leaves, or waste. 🌲🍂♻️🌰
Afterwards, we will head to ACU for the indoor section of the drag workshop. First, there will be a short introduction about drag as an art form and how it can be used in intersectional activism for e.g. climate justice 🌎, nature conservation 🦚 and social justice issues ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏾✊🏿. Next, you will have the opportunity to create a costume with the material you have collected during the walk. You also have the opportunity to learn basic drag make-up skills. 💄 If you'd like to, you can flaunt your drag look at the bar or outside at the end of the workshop.

If you are not able to join us in Amelisweerd for the walk, you can still join us at ACU. You are encouraged to bring your own make-up and clothes, but the organizers will provide some as well.

- any make-up that you might have 💄💅
- lunch box & snacks 🥪
- water 💧
- rain coat ☔
