🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💜 Ready yourselves for a perfect purple hills fantasy on the NS-wandeling Veluwezoom🌲🪻🪻

Hi Lavender Legends,

Late summer is kicking in, so it's the season to visit the beautiful blooming heather fields again (on time this time 😅). Where to do this better than the famous Posbank area in Veluwezoom National Park, where we organised our very first hike back in 2022? 😊 Get ready for some elevation gains (up to 90 meters), deep forests, Scottish Highlanders, and amazing views all the way to Arnhem and even Germany🌲🪻✨

🥾 Distance: 15 km (approximately 4.5 hours including a lunch break, shortcut of 11km ending in Rhenen is possible). Moderate fitness level required. Two toilet breaks are available at restaurants en route.

🤝🏼 Meeting point: Utrecht Centraal (underneath the light cloud)
🕙 Gathering time: 10:00
🚆 Travel schedule: Train to Arnhem Centraal (direction Nijmegen) at 10:23 (platform 19) ➡️ arrival at Arnhem Centraal at 10:58 ➡️ train to Dieren (direction Zwolle) at 11:11 ➡️ arrival in Dieren at 11:22
❗You can also travel on your own from another direction and meet us in Arnhem or Dieren.

🚗 If you come by car, you can park at P+R Station Dieren. Please arrive by 11:20!

🚶🏾After a round of introductions, we start walking around 11:30

🏁 We finish our hike at Velp station, from where we catch the train back to Utrecht via Arnhem.
