Advent of Code Meetup December 2023

TL;DR: Advent of Code: come solve puzzles together (or solo) and chat about the event!

Come and join us so we can solve Advent of Code puzzles together!

Advent of Code is an Advent calendar of small programming puzzles for a variety of skill sets and skill levels that can be solved in any programming language you like. People use them to learn a new language, as a speed contest, company training, university coursework, practice problems, or to challenge each other.

We at Infi love Advent of Code and we think it's awesome to solve them together. New to this? We'll help you get started solving puzzles and getting a taste of this. Experienced Advent of Code puzzler? Our best puzzles solvers will be present at this Meetup, so you can pair with them to up your puzzle solving skills.

What you should bring:

• Some experience with programming
• A healthy urge to learn something
• A laptop

What we offer:

• Food / an evening meal (vega(n) options included)
• Drinks, including some Gluhwein (mulled wine), both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
• Power, WiFi, and some help with puzzling if you need it
• A "Tribute" bonus puzzle at https://aoc.infi.nl

Schedule:

• 17:30 - 18:15 Doors open, chat some, have a drink, dinner
• 18:15 - 18:30 Small welcome and introduction to Advent of Code
• 18:30 - 20:30ish Solve puzzles together (or solo, if you prefer!)
