Abstract: In this meetup we will be sharing common strategies used by Kong’s customers to automate API lifecycle using Kong Konnect & APIOps. APIOps involves the application of established DevOps and GitOps principles to the API lifecycle. By implementing these principles, APIOps provides users with self-service and automation tools, thereby ensuring the quality of APIs. Specifically, we explore how Kong empowers APIOps through its robust support for declarative API configurations

Deepak Grewal is a Senior Solutions Engineer at Kong, specializing in Service Mesh & API Management. Deepak's past experience spans a wide range of areas, including APIs, Application Performance Monitoring (APM) & Observability, Leasing & Loan Originations, Financial Trading.

Jan Jaap has worked with API’s and API Management platforms for over than 10 years. He’s experienced in both architecture as well as implementations of API management and the many aspects involved in it.
