Remote Design Processes: Tips & Best Practices

Fully remote jobs and companies were already out there and the shift increasingly on-trend. Despite that, it is only now, hit by a global disruption out of our control, that remote practices become the (one and only) plan A, instead of an optional plan B as it used to be for many.

In this moment of mixed feelings and confusion, how can we effectively translate offline design processes into an online practice?
What are the tips, do’s and don’ts’ to keep in mind when familiarising with new ways of working or getting more confident at them?

This virtual talk aims at sharing actionable knowledge and insights to inspire personal adaptations and trigger a positive, but also realistic mindset towards embracing remote processes. It can be challenging at times, but we promise: it can also be a lot of fun!

She specialises in creative facilitation by using the fundamentals of human-centred design to help teams innovate effectively. Valentina has been the users’ advocate within a diverse range of Service Design projects: from social innovation challenges in vulnerable contexts to commercial work for global clients like KLM, Shell, Liander, Arcadis.
