This Meetup is for book lovers in Haarlem who want to share their thoughts on what they’re currently reading or have recently finished. All genres welcome and no need to have finished the book. In progress reads are welcome too!

What’s our goal?

To connect with fellow readers, discover new books, and share what we’re learning and enjoying. The long-term goal is to create a book club in Haarlem, but for this first event, let’s simply discuss the books we’ve been reading!

How it works:

We’ll meet in a small group where everyone shares:

• A book you’re currently reading or recently finished
• What drew you to it and what you’re learning from the book
• Key takeaways, favourite moments, or interesting ideas
• Why you’d recommend it (or not!)

Come prepared to talk about one book – and leave with a reading list!

Note: We will use English as the main language of communication 😊

Who should join:

• Those who want to connect with other readers in Haarlem
• Regular readers who love discussing books
• People who enjoy hearing different perspectives on what they read
• Anyone looking for book recommendations

What to bring:

Yourself, your enthusiasm for your book and of course, the book itself (could be digital or physical)
