Details

This quintet consists of East Coast-based flutist and vocalist Rebecca Kleinmann in collaboration with percussionist-cuatro player Jackeline Rago, guitarist Carlos Caminos, percussionist Marlon Aldana, and bassist Bil Hager. I'm expecting a range of original compositions and arrangements drawing on Venezuelan music, Brazilian folkloric rhythms, flamenco, and more.

CONCERT COST: Ticket prices range from about $28 to $33, including the online service fee. NOTE that there are currently a limited number of discounted tickets available (at the approximately $28 price), for seniors, students, and "early bird" buyers.

TICKETS/SEATING: Buy your own tickets. General admission seating, mainly on folding chairs.

NOTE: This is a small venue; the discounted tickets could sell out prior to the concert date.

WHEN/WHERE TO MEET: Meet out front of the Red Poppy by no later than 7:00 p.m., when the doors open, so we can get seats together. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and I expect it to go to 9:00 p.m.

>>NOTE: Depending on my schedule that week, I might be adding a pre-show dinner prior to 6:00 p.m. at a nearby Thai restaurant. Stay tuned for updates on that. (Note that I typically limit dinners to six people.)<<

HOW TO FIND ME: I'm WF, about 5 feet tall, with short salt-and-pepper hair and glasses. (See my pic w/ my Meetup Profile.) I'll send my mobile number to RSVPers prior to the show.

TRANSIT/LOCATION: Located within an easy walk of 24th Street BART and assorted Muni bus lines. If you're driving, allow extra time to find street parking!
