Home of Mid-Week Crisis and Sunday Drinks - we're a group of friends organizing events where the only goals are to hang out, have good conversations, and make friends!
Our group and events are open to anyone, but our ambition is to be a place for immigrants who are committed to Amsterdam for the long-term, and locals who want to meet new people. When we first moved to Amsterdam, we were looking for smaller, more intimate meetups with more regulars, and decided to create our own group for exactly that.
We aim to create a close-knit and welcoming environment where you feel at home immediately, and are always looking forward to the next event - and would love your feedback if that was not the case!
We have a zero tolerance policy for sexism, racism, homophobia, harassment or creepy/inappropriate behavior at our events. Our meetups are NOT singles/dating events, do not assume other attendees are here for this reason. If you notice any behavior at our events that make you or anyone else uncomfortable, please do not hesitate to reach out to the organizers - the sooner we hear about it, the better we're able to take action.

Join us at Gloria's (formerly known as De Tulp), where we organised our first event 2 years ago and let's party together 💃 🥳!!
This is one of the coolest venues in the heart of De Pijp. Just walk in, get a drink, meet fellow expats and make new international friends!
The venue offers good (and reasonably priced) drinks and snacks, but you can also get a proper dinner if you want.

We're a group of locals and immigrants/expats intending to stay in Amsterdam long-term. We keep the number of attendees low to create a more intimate atmosphere.
We aim to create a small, close-knit, and welcoming environment where it's easy to make friends / good conversation, and you're always looking forward to the next event. As such, we do not tolerate any sexism, racism, homophobia, harassment or creepy/inappropriate behavior at our events.
RSVP POLICY
Please only RSVP if you are sure you can come. If you have signed up for the event but can't make it, please set yourself to "Not Going" by editing your RSVP. If you are listed as Going and then don't show multiple times, you may be removed from the group.
If the event is already at full capacity, you will be put on the waitlist. You may be picked from the waitlist if more spots open up, so keep an eye on your Meetup notifications.

Sunday Trip: Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven
Lucifer Coffee Roasters BAR, Kennedyplein 103, 5611 ZS Eindhoven, Netherlands, Eindhoven, NB, NLWe are taking a Sunday train trip down to Eindhoven for Dutch Design Week, the largest design and innovation festival in Europe. Think futuristic tech, wild creative concepts, interactive installations, and massive industrial spaces.
No design background required—we’re going purely for the visual madness, good atmosphere, and solid street food.
The Game Plan:- Coffee & Fuel: We’ll sync up in Eindhoven, grab coffee, and kick off the day together.
- Strijp-S Exploration: We’ll hit the main hub at Strijp-S (the old industrial Philips factory grounds), checking out the Klokgebouw exhibitions, pop-up installations, and design markets.
- Street Food & Refuel: Grab lunch on the go from the local food trucks and container bars scattered around the area.
- Craft Beers: Potentially finish the afternoon kicking back with a few local brews at a brewery in Strijp-S before we head back to Amsterdam.
Logistics:
- Tickets: You’ll need a DDW Wristband/Ticket for the exhibitions—grab yours online beforehand.
- Transport: Train from Amsterdam to Eindhoven Centraal (approx. 1h 20m). We can agree on transport in the chat.
- What to wear: Comfortable shoes. Strijp-S is huge, and we will be doing plenty of walking.
