hello happy hikers,
On this 16 km. walk we'll explore the national park zuid Kennemerland.
The landscape is varied with dunes, forestpatches and beach.
It is part of one of the dutch longdistance hikingtrails forming the coastal route which runs from the southwest to the northeast over 700 km.
We might meet some scottish highlanders or shetlandponys which are there to control the vegetation. Also we pass a lake which is frequented by many different types of birds.
The plan:
We meet at station Santpoort-noord at 10:40. This is arrivaltime of the train coming from the south.
Have a lovely hike with a couple of breaks along the way.
End at station Overveen around 16:00 p.m.
What to bring:
Good shoes, weatherproof clothes, something to eat/drink (at least 0,5 liter of water) sunshine.
