Join us for a relaxing 11 km circular hike through the peaceful Krommenieër Woudpolder — a beautiful peat meadow area full of waterbirds, open views, and rich history. 🌾🦢
💡 Highlights along the way:
- 🌬️ Walk past Molen De Woudaap, a windmill that drained the polder in the 17th century
- 🏰 Pass by Fort K’IJK — part of the UNESCO Stelling van Amsterdam
- 🌳 Discover scenic, quiet nature just 30 minutes from Alkmaar
- 🔁 Red trail, well-marked and easy-paced (11 km loop)
🍽️ After the hike, we'll relax at a harbor-side restaurant for a drink or a bite together — a great way to unwind and chat. 😊
