Setting up automated testing with FitNesse and HSAC
Details
Building apps comes with the challenge of maintaining high quality while constantly delivering and releasing. Functional testing has its limits and, let's be honest, no one likes to constantly (re)test the entire application with every new feature release.
A good test-automation suite is vital to keep your users happy by ensuring quality without sacrificing speed of delivery.
Join this meetup to learn how to get started with the automated testing of your Mendix application by using out of the box, open source tools.
You will:
• Learn how test automation will benefit you (a Mendix developer)
• See a live working example of an automation suite based solely on open source tools
• Create your own automation from scratch by getting hands on with tools like Fitnesse and HSAC (bring your laptop!)
• Learn how to use this stack to collaborate and ensure the quality of your Mendix app, for both small and large teams
• Learn how easily you can set up and maintain testing scenarios by making them reusable
• Learn about the possibilities to extend this stack and test things like emails or other, non-Mendix apps or services
