While Mendix excels as a low-code platform for rapid application development, there are scenarios where we need to extend beyond the standard UI components. This is where pluggable React widgets come into play, bridging the gap between Mendix’s low-code environment and fancy designs from designers.

Creating React widgets for Mendix presents unique challenges as it requires understanding both the Mendix ecosystem and React development paradigms.
