Introducing a Generic Metadata Interface by Roelant Vos

Details
Roelant Vos, renowed expert on Data Warehousing Design Patterns and famous DWH blogger (www.roelantvos.com) is visiting The Netherlands again!
Mon Nov 25th until Wed Nov 27th Roelant will be in Utrecht to teach his 3-day training on Data Warehouse Design Patterns. During this training he will share ready-to-use patterns to architect, implement and full automate your data solution.
More information about this training can be found on www.virtualdwh.com (there are still some seats available!)
In Roelant Vos his busy schedule there was some time left on Friday afternoon, Nov 22nd, a unique opportunity to organize a community session and a personal catch-up with Roelant!
Roelant will present his ideas on an interface schema that could be used to interface metadata between and across different delivery tools such as Powerdesigner, TEAM etc. (‘the one schema that rules them all’).
Basically how a generic schema definition can be used to support all known use-cases for different modelling techniques and tools.
Roelant will elaborate further on the ideas already shared on his blog post http://roelantvos.com/blog/changes-to-generic-metadata-interface-github/.
This will be a very interesting topic to discuss with the community and display the power of automation & generation.
