Yes! During this event we have Alex Brandsen and Laura Ham present their research or work on Natural Language Processing (NLP). Alex is unlocking hidden treasures in archeology and Laura works on vector search for one of the hottest Dutch startups of 2022.

Alex Brandsen is a PhD Candidate at the faculty of Archeology at the University of Leiden. He is one of the creators of ArcheoBERTje, a BERT model pre-trained on Dutch archeological texts, to unlock the hidden information in archeological field reports.
16:35 - 17:00 - Open-source vector search using Weviate
Laura Ham is a ML Product Researcher at the startup SeMI Technologies, the company behind the search engine Weaviate. During this talk, you will learn what vector databases are and learn how you can run your own vector search engine. She will also share how SeMI Technologies is working on the open source technology Weaviate.
