Mini Yoga Retreat: Finding Calm Through the Body

Experience the peace within you, waiting to be felt through your own body.

This 2.5-hour mini retreat is an invitation to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself — through mindful movement, stillness, and community.

#### What to Expect

You’ll be guided through a gentle yet powerful journey that blends:

  • Mindful Movement – Learn to shift your body weight, engage and release muscles consciously, and move from your core. Explore simple movements that awaken presence and trust.
  • Spinal Flow & Yoga Postures – Practice yoga poses with deep awareness of your energy flow and alignment, accessible for both beginners and advanced practitioners.
  • Chanting & Breathwork – Experience how sound and breath can stimulate your vagus nerve, bringing a deep sense of calm and safety to your body.

We’ll close the session by sharing a cup of tea together — a moment to slow down, connect, and meet others in the community.

#### What to Bring

  • A yoga mat
  • Comfortable clothing that allows movement
  • A water bottle
  • Optional: a small towel or light blanket

Tip: Please have your lunch at least 90 minutes before the start time so your body feels light and comfortable for movement and breathing exercises.

Jay is a yoga and mindfulness facilitator passionate about making ancient practices accessible to modern minds. His sessions blend movement, breath, and awareness to help people reconnect with their natural state of calm.
