Let's ride Soest mtb course

After too long not riding I'm now back on my bike and kick starting the meetup group with the new Soest mtb course, part of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug courses.
The course is around 23km and is a fun challenge with flowing single track and no super challenging climbs. There is also a really nice 'playground' section with various optional drops and jumps.

As always the pace will be relaxed to ensure everyone keeps up as the aim is a fun group ride for everyone.
If the weather for the day doesn't look good the date may be moved.

Vignette Please note that in order to ride these trails you must have a valid vignette for 2024 which this year is digital only. It costs €7.50 for the whole year and gives access to all the trails of MTB Utrechtse Heuvelrug. For more information see the MTB Utrechtse Heuvelrug website

Bike Rental for those who don't have a bike the best local rental I can find is https://fietsverhuursoest.nl/ with Mondraker mountain bikes available in Soest town within walking distance of Soest Zuid train station

Aprés-Ride After the ride we can grab some food and drinks at a nearby cafe/restaurant but I want to check on a few options first

Meeting place is car park 'Zonnegloren' just south of Soest on N413, the car park is just behind a building and the nearest train station is Soest Zuid.
