PostGIS Day 2024 on novermber 21st in Utrecht

This year, after the international GIS day, we will again organize the Post-GIS day on November 21st! This time organized by Jeroen Hovens and Willem Hoffmans!

The day is from 9:30 to 17:00 at the Hogeschool Utrecht at Padualaan 99 in Utrecht. You can register via the website https://postgisdag.nl/

All knowledge levels regarding the usesage and knowledge of PostGIS are welcome! There will be something fun and interesting for everyone. The PostGIS day will be based on the unconference principle.

This means that there is no pre-made program. You as a participant can let us know if you have a topic, workshop or other ideas. This can be done via the website of the PostGIS day. There are already a few topics that have been submitted for this year:
• PostGIS for beginners
• Removing street facades from the BAG with POST-GIS
• … your input?

There is plenty of room! So do you have a nice demo, workshop or talk about or with PostGIS? Do you just want to share what you can do with it or what you encounter? Then you can submit it via the website: https://postgisdag.nl/

This year we are once again welcome at the Hogeschool Utrecht and in particular at the lectorate “Nieuwe Energie in de Stad” (NEIDS). We are very grateful for this great collaboration!

Lunch has also been arranged: Geodan, part of Sogelink, is sponsoring a delicious lunch for all participants!
