Learn the fundamentals of drawing in this 12-week evening course designed for beginners, offered in the heart of historic Amsterdam Centre. Classes run on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 to 21:30, starting 10 March and ending 16 June, with our teacher, who has long experience in guiding people in drawing courses, Secil Guven.

Part 3: Personal Focus
Establish your artistic voice. Choose your subject of interest and design your course module, such as:
19.05.2026-Portrait Drawing

09.06.2026-Landscape
16.06.2026-Urban drawing
etc.
Other subjects to choose from: anime, fashion design, comics, cartoon.

Portfolio: The last session includes guidance and feedback in helping you to create your drawing portfolio.

Cost: €340 inc. btw exc. Eventbrite fees. Classes include all materials as well as free e-books. You will need to spare min of 2 hours at home to practice to complete assignments. Payment can be made at the location.

Art Studio Amsterdam – Centre. It's located in the historic centre of Amsterdam in a beautiful Amsterdamse School style building with coloured stained glass and a high ceiling.

If you cannot make it to this session, there are always upcoming sessions scheduled that you can see on our main page. We will continue organising various art sessions throughout the year.
