How does the clothing exchange work?

--> € 8.50 (regular) & € 5.00 (U-pass + 18 yrs younger)

* Bring clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories that are clean and tidy and that you also like. Clothing that you think others will be happy with.

* Clothing will be replenished throughout the afternoon (13:30-16:00), so you can also score a nice outfit at a later time.

* We will continue until around 4:30 pm. Then we'll collect the remaining clothing and a lot is donated or taken to the next event, so that this clothing also gets a nice destination.

Every Summer, multiple communities get together to hold some epic picnics in Amsterdam's city parks. We're kicking off this season's picnics in Vondelpark. This is a great networking opportunity for everyone to learn about other awesome social communities led by amazing organisers.

Come join us to chill and soak in the summer weather! Starting at 2 PM, Paula and her Hikes & Pictures community will do a [city walk](https://meetu.ps/e/P4Wmw/zYlVS/i) from the Central station to our picnic location in Vondelpark. If you live outside of Amsterdam and are taking the train here, this is a fun way to get to the picnic and make some new friends along the way!

This is a BYO (bring your own), potluck style event. I'll be bringing some munchies and games. Bring a little something of your own too and spread the fun around!

Good things to bring: Picnic mat, bluetooth speaker, drinks + snacks, cups and cutlery, games etc. Don't leave home without your good vibes 😎

If you play an instrument feel free to bring it. Musicians from our Amsterjamming community will be doing a small jam session.

Fan of philosophy? There will be a philosophy corner led by Dev and The Passionate Philosophers!

NOTE: This event will happen only in good weather. If the weather is less than ideal, we'll postpone it to another day!

☀️ Picnic & Chill XXL ☀️ @ Vondelpark (Communities Gathering)

Vondelpark - We will meet at the PICASSO statue.

Our next City Clean-up will take us back to the surroundings of Café Bern in Nieuwmarkt! There'll be terrace space reserved for us after the cleanup so we can enjoy a free first drink together in the sunshine!

A neighbourhood favourite, **Café Bern** has retained the same familiar charm for more than 4 decades. It's actually founded by a fella expat!

Looking for a career switch, Swiss nuclear physicist Helmut Winzeler, who just so happened to be an accomplished cook as well, started Café Bern with his family in 1978, later joined by Amsterdammer Koen Vollaers, best known for iconic restaurants and food festivals such as Aprilfeesten and Rollende Keukens.

The longevity of Café Bern is defined by just 3 simple ingredients: a meal, a drink and great conversation.

Just like the last time, we will gain a rare opportunity to learn about the history of the location!
