Are you good at what you do, but struggle to get your ideas across when you have to present?

Maybe you miss structure when speaking. You rush through your presentation. You get stuck in your head. Or perhaps you already get sweaty hands just thinking about standing in front of a group.

When you don’t speak as clearly or confidently as you would like, good ideas can get lost. Your expertise doesn't land. And with it the opportunities.

You may hold back in meetings, avoid speaking opportunities or simply not come across as strongly as you know you can.

Luckily, public speaking is a skill. And skills can be trained.

In this two-hour Public Speaking Kung Fu workshop, we’ll work practically on some of the fundamentals of strong speaking: dealing with nerves, slowing down, using pauses, structuring your message, storytelling, and becoming more grounded in front of a group.

You’ll speak. You’ll experiment. You’ll get feedback. And you’ll try again.

You’ll walk away with practical tools you can apply immediately, a clearer understanding of your personal improvement points, and a concrete idea of what to practice next.

I’m Lex Zimmermann, founder of Public Speaking Kung Fu. I used to struggle with speaking myself, and over the last 10 years I’ve built my approach through Toastmaster, teaching kitesurfing, improv, Tai Chi and Kung Fu, and working as an expert in tech. Today I help experts become clearer, more grounded and more convincing speakers.

At the end of the workshop, you can also book a free 1-on-1 speaking session with me if you want to go deeper.

Are you good at what you do, but does your speaking sometimes not show it?

Maybe you get nervous when the pressure goes up. You rush. Your story lacks structure. You stay too much in your head. Or you simply know that the way you speak isn’t yet at the same level as your expertise.
And that can become a bottleneck.

Because if you can’t get your ideas across when it matters, you can be less visible, have less influence and sometimes miss opportunities you were perfectly capable of taking.

In this 30-minute 1-on-1 coaching session, we focus on one real speaking challenge.
Beforehand, I’ll ask you a few questions about where you are now, what you struggle with and what you want to improve. That means we don’t spend half the session figuring out why you’re there. We can get straight to work.
We’ll identify the most important thing holding you back and work on it together.
That could be:

* dealing with nerves;
* slowing down and using pauses;
* structuring your message;
* sounding more convincing;
* body language and presence;
* preparing for an important presentation or speaking moment.

You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what you need to improve, practical feedback on how to improve it, and something concrete to practise immediately.

Public speaking is a skill. Sometimes one focused adjustment already makes a surprisingly big difference.
