Springest will provide snacks and drinks, but no full dinner :)

Dear all,

The next ProductTank Amsterdam will take place on March 22. Our host and sponsor: Springest (http://www.springest.com/)!

We will be talking about data. It's a hot topic nowadays, we all want to be data-driven, we all want to use big data, but how do we make sense of data? How do we integrate different sources of data and use it in a practical way to help us grow our business??

We are in the process of finalizing the speakers, but here is a sneak preview:

Rik Matena - Springest (http://www.springest.com/)
Rik holds a variety of roles at Springest, thé site for your learning & development. He's the lead link of the Product circle (some Holacracy-related terms in there) and one of its 3 product owners. He also likes to code and contributes now and then by building custom internal tools. Outside the Product circle, he's accountable for the structure and automation of the company's detailed metrics sheets.

About the talk: "Data-driven culture at Springest — From KPI’s to AB testing"
In this talk we'll dive into the flow of one of Springest's core business models. Along the way, we'll see how real-world complexity made us move beyond Optimizely for AB-testing and develop our own backend+Mixpanel solution. Most importantly, we'll interpret results for a recent test which, familiarly, brought both excitement and heartbreak.

Brian Garett & Rob Draaijer - 3dhubs (http://www.3dhubs.com)

Brian is co-founder and Head of Product at 3D Hubs. He has a background in Product Design and has worked in the 3D Printing space for over 7 years.

Rob is CMO and responibsle for Growth at 3D Hubs. Prior to joining 3D Hubs he founded Zazzy, worked at eBuddy.

About the Talk: Building Online Marketplaces: Guts & Data

One of the most important parts of marketplaces is their ability to match supply with demand. For 3D Hubs this means finding the right 3D Printer for a professional who needs to have something printed. Over the past year we’ve built world's largest 3D Printing marketplace relying on both guts and data.

We look forward to share our insights, data, anecdotes and successes and failures.

Rogier Schutte -SRXP (https://www.srxp.com/)

During my Bachelors in Information Sciences in early 2010 my two partners (Pieter and Mark) and me met at the University of Amsterdam. We noticed that companies spent a lot of time processing employee expenses.

We digitised that with a mobile app for employees to photograph the receipt. So we started by convincing the dutch tax authorities to allow us to save receipt in a digital manner. From that moment on: expense chaos, solved.

About the talk

Rogier will talk about the different sources of data he uses in his product development product, and the lessons he has learned about using these sources.

See you there!

Steven and Iris
