Hi Product People,
we’re kicking off the ‘22/’23 season of ProductTank AMS with a blockbuster: Matt LeMay, product leader and author of “Product Management in Practice” which just arrived in its 2nd edition, is joining us to talk about creating with each other instead of presenting at each other by leaving documents “Incomplete by Design” - including (gasp!) turning off comments!

After the talk, you can win his latest book if you ask an interesting & thought-provoking question in the Q&A - so make sure to come prepared and ready!

This will be an in-person event again - we’ll be right in the center of the city atop the flower market at TNW City. All thanks to our sponsor Levi9 who is supporting us with the venue, foods & drinks.

We hope to see you all there!

ABOUT THE TALK
How much of our time do we waste presenting things at each other rather than creating things with each other? What if we could make our product documentation better by spending less time on it? In his talk Matt puts forth a simple but powerful suggestion: if you want your documentation to be effective, leave it unfinished, unimpressive, and "incomplete by design." This is easier said than done--especially for product managers who see the quality of their documentation as an expression of their personal worth.

This talk will provide actionable advice for putting the idea of "incomplete by design" into practice by establishing default timeboxes, working in shared documents, and (gasp!) turning off comments.
