Please join us for an online meetup with Cecilia Baldoni on Scrollytelling science with Quarto and Closeread.

Topic: If you enjoy building things with R and Markdown, scrollytelling might be your next favorite tool!
In this talk, Cecilia will show how she used Quarto and its Closeread format to build an interactive scrollytelling website that presents her research on brain plasticity in shrews. She will walk through the structure of a Closeread project, show how R-generated plots can be integrated, and share layout tips, and common pitfalls. This session is a hands-on look at turning any topic into a compelling visual story using tools many R users already know.
