R Ladies Netherlands Book Club - Advanced R Chapter 6

Hi everyone,

The R Ladies chapters of the Netherlands are partnering up and are hosting an online book club. As a first book, we chose to read and discuss Hadley Wickham's Advanced R book (https://adv-r.hadley.nz/).
Join us for our next meeting, in which Josephine Daub will present the key points of Chapter 6: "Functions". After that, we'll try some exercises together and help each other clear up any doubts and get over any hurdles :)

ABOUT Josephine

Josephine is a computational biologist with special interest in evolutionary and cancer genomics. She is currently working as a postdoc at the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology where she studies genetic interactions in childhood tumors. Josephine has programmed in many languages but the last years mainly in R. She knows that there is a lot to learn and working through the first chapters of the Advanced R book has already answered many questions she had about R's peculiarities.
