let's count birds and take pictures of them

Every year, Vogelbescherming organises the National Garden Bird Count. Throughout the weekend, we spend 30 minutes every day, keeping track of visitors of all sizes and shapes - this can be done in our backyards, on balconies, even in parks and other surroundings. It's a mindful activity for kids and adults alike.

At the Rotterdam Collective, we decided to make it a fun get-together this winter. We will meet at Sint-Jacobspark to chat, count birds and take pictures; then walk over to the Schieblock and make little zines about the birds we saw.

This is a two-part event:
9:30-10:15 bird counting at Sint-Jacobspark
10:30-12:30 zine making at the Rotterdam Collective (tickets needed)
