User and content aligned

Details

The journey through a digital product can be seen as a conversation with the end user. They are trying to solve a problem — they have a job to be done — and you might have the solution!

While the user weighs all the pros and cons of your product and compares them with alternative solutions, their heads get filled with questions. Both on a conscious and subconscious level. They need help to make a decision.

Your product needs to have a message that answers these questions. The content has to convey empathy and an understanding of the situation, dealing with all the doubts and prejudices that the end user has. In short: the content needs to address the users’ job to be done.

In this UX Cocktail Hour, we will explore the Jobs to be done framework. A powerful way of thinking about WHY the end user sees your product as a possible solution. And we talk about ways to connect with the Job to be done with content.
