Walking meditations on Tao Te Ching

Details
Dear friends
During this event we will concentrate on verses from chapter 20 of Tao Te Ching. We will reflect together this chapter and then will go for a 20 minute walking meditation in the park!!
Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu is a chinese classical text with 81 verses of wisdom. Though Tao Te Ching has been interpreted subjectively according to who is reading it, for a seeker on the path of wisdom it is a wonderful and precise guide to the process of becoming an enlightened being, to accomplish, within oneself, a high level of spiritual cultivation.
Verse 20 of Tao Te Ching
"Give up intellectual learning
and you will have no worries.
Agreement and disagreement,
are they really so different?
Good and evil,
are they really so far apart?
What others fear, must I also fear?
This nonsense is unending!
Other people are happy
as if they are at a great feast.
In spring they merrily ascend the hills
to see the sights.
I alone remain tranquil and unmoved
like an infant who doesn’t know how to laugh.
I am exhausted with no home to return to.
Other people have much
while I possess nothing.
I seem like a fool.
Other people are clear
while I alone am confused.
Other people are clever
while I seem dull.
I feel lost at sea
tossed about on the winds of a storm.
Everyone else has things to do
while I appear thickheaded and stupid.
Yet I am different from the others
because I am nourished by the Great Mother."
I welcome you towards a fruitful reflection and meditation experience!!
