Dear friends
During this event we will concentrate on verses from chapter 48 of Tao Te Ching. We will reflect together this chapter and then will go for a 20 minute walking meditation in the park!!
Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu is a chinese classical text with 81 verses of wisdom. Though Tao Te Ching has been interpreted subjectively according to who is reading it, for a seeker on the path of wisdom it is a wonderful and precise guide to the process of becoming an enlightened being, to accomplish, within oneself, a high level of spiritual cultivation.

Verse 48 of Tao Te Ching

"In the pursuit of worldly knowledge
every day something more is added.
In the pursuit of Tao
every day something is let go.
The sage does less and less
until he reaches the state of nonaction.
The sage does not act
yet there is nothing he does not achieve.
To be a ruler of all under Heaven
one must practice noninterference.
If one approaches things in this way
one may become a ruler of the whole world."

Welcome to a beautiful reflection and walking meditation experience!
