Dear friends
During this event we will concentrate on verses from chapter 51 of Tao Te Ching. We will reflect together this chapter and then will go for a 20 minute walking meditation in the park!!
Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu is a chinese classical text with 81 verses of wisdom. Though Tao Te Ching has been interpreted subjectively according to who is reading it, for a seeker on the path of wisdom it is a wonderful and precise guide to the process of becoming an enlightened being, to accomplish, within oneself, a high level of spiritual cultivation.

Verse 51 of Tao Te Ching

"Tao gives birth to all beings.
Virtue (Te) nurtures them.
Primal chi gives them shape.
Circumstances complete them.
Therefore the ten thousand beings
honor Tao and esteem virtue.
Tao is respected and virtue is honored
naturally and spontaneously (tzu ran).
Therefore we say that Tao
gives birth to all beings
and that virtue nurtures them,
nourishes them, and lets them grow;
raises them and allows them to ripen;
sustains them and protects them.
It gives birth but does not possess,
benefits but does not make claims,
develops but is not dominating.
This is called profound virtue."

Welcome to a beautiful reflection and walking meditation experience!
