We often chase happiness as if it were somewhere just beyond our reach. Perhaps we believe we need to escape our current lives to find it. Or maybe our endless pursuit of happiness is precisely what keeps us from experiencing it.
For the final event in our Happy Life series, let's explore some intriguing questions: Why does chasing happiness sometimes make us less happy? Is happiness really somewhere else—or can we learn to find it in the lives we already have?

Noor Cornelissen
After working with Doctors Without Borders along migration routes across Africa and the Middle East, Noor discovered a universal human longing: the need to belong. She founded Rooted to help people with a migration background feel at home in the Netherlands without leaving parts of their identity behind. Today, she advocates for a society where diversity is embraced and everyone can feel rooted, connected, and truly at home.

This is not a workshop with answers. It’s a space to think, feel, and connect—with yourself and others navigating similar questions.
