The World of Alderland has changed. Since magic levels have reached an all-time high extradimensional creatures known collectively as horrors have scoured the land destroying and corrupting all manners of life. This time was known as The Scourge. All Kin have tried to survive by hiding in underground shelters protected by magic known as kaers. Since the magic levels have normalized, most if not all horrors have disappeared. Since then, explorers have been sent, those that have come back alive now speak of a new danger known as The Mists. Anyone who encounters these mists, most have disappeared never to be seen again, whereas others have been spared. In the underground metropolis of Thrall, guards have been stationed near the massive underground iron gates to not allow just anyone through. It has been a while since anyone claims to have seen The Mist, were they ever real? Or were they just a tool? A tale spun to keep the masses from exploring? For what purpose? It’s in this world you are thrust into…

In this game players will take on roles of pre-generated characters starting in the dwarven underground kingdom known as Thrall. This will be a one-shot campaign to give everyone a taste of the Forbidden Lands RPG system by Free League Games. Be forewarned strong themes will be used even in a safe and fun gaming area. If you are looking to play heroic characters in a rich, grimdark setting, with awesome players, then we look forward to gaming with you.
