Rijksmuseum Boerhaave is the national museum of science and medicine. Through it's collection the museum tells the stories of groundbreaking Dutch discoveries and inventions and their impact on our lives today. It has received the European Museum of the Year Award in 2019.

🌍 Big Questions: Are we alone in the universe? How do we keep our planet habitable? Can we look at health in a new way? Humanity has been working on some questions for centuries. And no matter how much we know, we have not yet found the ultimate answers.

🩺 Sickness and Health: From bloodletting to blood transfusions and from amputations to complicated transplants, you will follow the impressive developments in medicine.
