Walk & Talk: NS Trail Wezepsche Heide (16 km)

Do you want to move more this year or meet new people? With Walk & Talk, you can do both! Join us for a beautiful 16 km trail along the NS Wezepsche Heide Trail, starting from Wezep and ending in Zwolle.

🌿 Why it’s worth it:
This trail offers a surprising mix of forests, wide heathlands, and scenic river views. We’ll start in the quiet village of Wezep and immediately head into the beautiful Wezepsche Heide — a vast nature reserve with open heather fields, pine forests, and sand drifts. From there, we’ll walk through serene woodlands, cross open landscapes, and follow parts of the IJssel River towards Zwolle.

At the end of our journey, we’ll explore the charming historic centers of the Hanseatic cities Hattem and Zwolle — full of cozy streets, old city walls, and riverside cafés. It’s not just good for your body — it’s food for the soul.

📍 Meeting Point: AH to Go, Amersfoort Central Station
🕤 Time: Meet at 9:35 AM sharp – the train to Wezep departs at 9:42 AM
🚶‍♀️ Distance: 16 km
🏁 Finish: Zwolle Station

🌿 Midway break: We'll take a cozy break at a café in Hattem, the perfect spot for a warm drink and some good conversation.

🔔 Important: Please be on time at 9:35 AM. The train to Wezep leaves at 9:42 AM sharp, and we won’t be able to wait.
