Tailor Talk #2 (Introduction to AI in Azure)

De tweede Tailor Talks is gepland. Dinsdag 29 juni om 16:00 uur is het tijd voor de tweede editie van onze meetup. Uiteraard volledig online. Zorg dat je erbij bent! Deze keer planning we een uur voor de talk met aansluitend wat tijd voor vragen, discussies en uitloop.

The second Tailor Talk is planned. Tuesday 29th June it is time for our second edition. The event will take place online. We are planning one hour for the talk, with half an hour after for questions.

What is the talk about?
In this session, we will introduce you to AI and how users can get started with leveraging pre-built models to building custom models on Azure ML.

You should attend this session if you are interested in any of the following topics:
• What is AI and some of the common use cases?
• Get started with Azure's pre-built AI options.
• How to build and leverage Azure ML to build your own models?

This session aims at introducing the audience to the topic of AI and Azure's ML offerings. The talk will include tips on how to get started with leveraging pre-built models as well as tips on how to build/run custom models in Azure ML.

Jaya Mathew is an experienced Data Scientist and Machine Learning practitioner with over 15 years of industry experience across multiple geographies. Her work focuses on the deployment of AI and ML solutions to solve real business problems for customers in multiple domains. Prior to joining Microsoft, she has worked with Nokia and Hewlett-Packard on various analytics and machine learning use cases. She holds an undergraduate as well as a graduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Mathematics and Statistics respectively.
