Learn to be comfortable speaking with strangers

Since 2013, we have been getting to know each other, and to learn speaking in public. Its supposedly one of the greatest fears we have, but public speaking includes going to meetings, doing interviews, and making new friends, and having meaningful conversations. It isn't just give a big speech at a wedding.

At Toastmasters, we focus on helping people find out how quickly they can become comfortable with speaking in public. We have a core group of members who always attend and want to invite others to join and share their interests.

We are an English language club with a very varied membership, located in the city centre of The Hague.

The focus is on making you comfortable with public speaking and learning how to handle doing just that - whether it be in a meeting, at a social event, or a family occasion like a wedding. We have a lot of experience helping our club members learn to do all these things. Typically people are surprised by how comfortable they become with speaking in public. We are a welcoming and social club. We like to encourage each other and call out the best from each other and we have a strong social aspect and frequently go for social activities after meetings.
