Come and join us for an evening of Buddhist meditation with like-minded people. The doors open at 7:00 PM, and meditation begins promptly at 7:15 PM. The meditation will last between 30 to 40 minutes, followed by tea and biscuits for anyone who would like to stay and chat. The themes are psychological and practical rather than political. **We’ll discuss topics such as:** * The balance between order and chaos in everyday life * Responsibility as a source of meaning * Truth, integrity, and self-honesty * Limits, discipline, and self-respect * Choosing meaningful difficulty over comfort This is a guided conversation, not a lecture or debate. Hello Dog-Buddies This is not just a dog walk. Being a dog owner can be amazing… and sometimes overwhelming. What to expect: • A relaxed group walk in Duivendrecht • A round including the dog park in Diemen • Time for dogs to socialize • Space for owners to connect and get to know each other **Important**: During the walk, all dogs stay on leash to keep things calm and safe. For this event, we’ll help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents, wash dishes and clean surfaces at Fath Mission – Grant Kitchen. We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “Create a better world” by helping serve those in need.
