* Host will tell you parts of an existing lesser known myth. * You retell this myth as a team using the prompt from the host. * Host reveals the original myth. The event showcases the power of collective story telling. There is no compulsion to speak, one can attend by merely listening to the stories. It is a safe place 🙂✨ Everyone plays the game in the way they feel the most comfortable. The event price is 10 euros, which includes one drink. Host gets 5 for the preparation of the myths and prompts, the rest goes to the establishment where the event is hosted.

Whether you are a veteran board gamer, or it is your first time playing board games, time to roll some dice, play some cards and flip the table!!! :P You can bring your own games and/or play those brought by others. Also, plenty of games to be chosen from Het Lab to be played. No need to know the rules to a game beforehand. Usually people are happy to explain the rules. Feel free to drop a comment in the event's comments section to look for players for a specific game. \- You can bring your own food or have it delivered. There are plenty of restaurants and food venues are around Het Lab. Hi everyone! For those who want to enjoy nature, trips/excursions, and generally a more outdoors setting, let’s get together for a hiking excursion! The plan is to meet at Utrecht Central (and/or a train station that is closest to our hiking area), and then we begin our hiking route. For first-timers (or as a helpful reminder 😉), I recommend that you wear a comfy outfit & shoes and bring water & a snack or two. At some point during the excursion, we can do a break in-between to rest and eat/drink for a while. Depending on the time & weather, and whether people are up for it, there’s always the possibility of follow-up drinks later that day. In een klein gezelschap van maximaal 8 mensen nodig ik je uit om mee te gaan op mijn culinaire reis door rouw – een reis die ik ooit begon na het verlies van mijn moeder. Eerder organiseerde ik diners, maar deze keer kies ik bewust voor een lunch. Waarom? Omdat ik weet dat het soms spannend kan zijn om over rouw te praten. In het laatste jaar van mijn koksopleiding verloor ik mijn moeder aan longkanker. Het was mijn eerste diepe ervaring met rouw, en het bracht me op een intense spirituele reis. In die zoektocht vond ik uiteindelijk rust en acceptatie. Helaas verloor ik recent ook mijn stiefmoeder. Na een zeer kort ziekbed werd ik opnieuw geconfronteerd met het verlies. De Troost Tafel is ontstaan uit mijn verlangen om anderen ook een plek te bieden – een veilige, warme tafel waar verlies ruimte mag krijgen, en waar troost mag ontstaan. Schuif je aan? We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome!
