Shut-Up & Write Zehlendorf meets Fridays, except during school holidays, following the standard format of 15 minutes to say hello, followed by two 45 minute writing sessions and a break in between. This is a **cutting shapes (UK shuffle)** class for beginner and intermediate shufflers. This time, we'll focus on **basic cutting shapes steps** and practice a few short combos (comining two or three steps). **Beginner shufflers** will have the chance to learn these basic steps for the first time or get (another) chance to practice them. **Intermediate shufflers** will learn to vary these basic steps with additional leg and arm movements, learn to combine them in new ways and keep practicing their foundations. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing.
