Wat we doen
Bienvenidos all BEGINNING Spanish language learners in Tucson. If you want conversation there are three other groups in town. This meetup is designed to help you be ready for the other meetups. We'll focus on proper pronunciation so that you can spell and pronounce just about anything, And really basic grammar like plurals, masculine and feminine and basic -ar verbs.
Who wants to memorize vocab. lists?? Yet we all need verbs and vocabulary to make a real sentence. Let's make it be fun with themed sessions among new friends to practice vocabulary by playing Go fish, Memory, Categories, 20 questions, or What word is on my back? Supplies provided. Themed sessions will include timely culture, like Día de los muertos, family members (get beyond madre, hijo, hermano) food (get beyond pollo, chile), travel, camping, Sonoran desert animals and plants, clothing (get beyond camiseta, zapato) and so much more -- we get to choose the themes! Meets at local cafes or at 5215 N. Sabino Canyon road, in the conference room of Sabino Executive Suites. Limit 12.
