Wat we doen
"Technology for Personal Development Nijmegen" (formerly VR-GLD) is a meetup group that focuses on technology for personal use. We discuss new and future technologies. Topics covered are biohacking, artificial intelligence, cryonics, quantified self, transhumanism, virtual reality and more.
We want to bring people together to learn, explore, make new friends and most important of all have a lot of fun. If you are new to the topics, feel free to ask and join our meetups.
During the meetups we give presentations and networking moments. We discuss the latest developments in these areas and share our experiences with each other. We also explore the ethical implications of our work and look for ways to use technology responsibly and safely in our lives.

In September we will go wild with an event on location! We dive into the world of virtual reality. We have a guest speaker on topics such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality and health.

We are hosting this event at Kobalt for which the entrance fee and presentation room fee is 37 euros total per person, but for that you get an unique and amazing experience, we promise! One important thing to mention, this meetup group is run by 100% volunteers.
