Where I work in Oud Zuid, was kindly planted with dozens of Ginkgo biloba street trees decades ago. Many are female trees and yield nuts in Autumn. We are fortunate to have these trees in the city and generally their tasty nuts are just trampled by passers by, when they fall from the trees. They are ready to harvest right now!

I'll do this on a few work lunchtimes to start with, so just a few places. It will stay a free meetup.

Ist date: 31st October 2012 - 1pm til 1.30pm
2nd date: Friday November 2nd - 12.35 - 12.55
3rd date: Tuesday November 6th - 12.45 - 1.15

These nuts are for anyone to take and you'll find them on many Amsterdam streets. I tagged the location I know best on Boskoi some time ago if you want to check it out yourself. You will need to bring a pair of rubber gloves for harvesting. The nuts need to be roasted before eating.

Please only RSVP if you are happy to attend whatever the weather ;)
