🎤 Special Panel: A Year of "The Daily Stoic" by Ryan Holiday 🏛️
Details
Do you believe that reading a self-help book once is enough to permanently change your mindset and habits?
Most of us know what to do to be calmer and more resilient, but we struggle with consistency. This event is different. Instead of a standard book review, we are hosting a Special Panel Discussion featuring five members of our book club who took on a challenge: reading The Daily Stoic every single day for a full year.
Join us as we share the honest reality of applying Stoic philosophy to modern life for 365 days straight. We will discuss:
- The Habit: How did reading a daily meditation change our morning routines and mindset?
- The Impact: Did it actually help us handle stress, work, and relationships better?
- The Struggle: Which days were the hardest, and is Stoicism practical in the 21st century?
The Panelists: You’ll hear personal stories and takeaways from the members who completed this journey: Nuno, Jeffrey, Leon, and myself.
About the Book: As highlighted on Goodreads, The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman offers 366 days of Stoic insights and exercises, featuring all-new translations from Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, and Epictetus. It is designed to be a daily devotional for clarity, effectiveness, and serenity.
Who is this for? You do NOT need to have read the book to attend! This session is for anyone interested in building better habits, exploring practical philosophy, or curious about how a simple daily practice can compound into a year of growth.
Come with your questions for the panel and discover if a year of Stoicism is right for you!
