Details

Come join us for a fun, stress-free book exchange!
This is the perfect chance to meet fellow local book lovers, grab a coffee, and go home with something new.
No chaotic free-for-alls! Weβve all been to swaps where the first people through the door grab all the best titles (non-fiction). To keep things completely fair, we are using a custom-built "Lucky Draw" web app to run the event. Here is how it works:
### ποΈ How the Swap Works
1. See the Dashboard: I recommend you to register on our app here [Click here to enter our lucky draw app]. Then, log your books into our digital event dashboard so everyone can see whatβs available in the pool.
2. Build Your Wishlist: Browse the dashboard on your phone/web. For every book you brought, you get to select 3 books for your wishlist! (e.g., Bring 2 books, put 6 on your wishlist).
3. The Lucky Draw: Once everyone has built their wishlists, the app runs a fair, automated lottery. If multiple people want the same bestseller, the app picks a random winner and immediately checks the backup choices for everyone else.
4. The Guarantee: You will never go home empty-handed! If you miss out on your wishlist picks, the app will automatically assign you a "Mystery Book" from the leftover pool.
### π The "Rule of 3" (and Donations!)
To make sure there are enough great books to go around, we cap the winnings at 3 books per person.
- Bring 1 book = Win 1 book (Pick 3 for your wishlist)
- Bring 2 books = Win 2 books (Pick 6 for your wishlist)
- Bring 3 books = Win 3 books (Pick 9 for your wishlist)
Want to bring more than 3? Please do! If you bring 5, 10, or 20 books to clear out your house, you will still take home a maximum of 3 books. Any extra books you bring act as community donations. They fuel the "Mystery Book" pool and ensure everyone walks away happy. Any books left over at the end of the day could be used for the next book swap.
### π What to Bring (Quality Guidelines)
Please only bring books that you would be excited to give to a friend.
- Yes please: Good condition paperbacks and hardcovers, popular non-fiction (English)
- No thank you: Badly damaged books (missing pages, water damage), old textbooks, outdated travel guides, or instruction manuals.
