For the second event of the Raising The Bar series, we travel to one of the most iconic beer cities in the world: Bruges.

Yes, Bruges is a postcard — canals, cobblestones, medieval facades.
But it’s also something else: a city with a living, breathing beer culture that goes far beyond the tourist clichés.

Beneath the surface lies a world of historic brown cafés, hidden cellar bars, and carefully curated tap lists, where centuries-old tradition meets contemporary brewing. This is a place where Belgian beer is not just a drink, but a cultural language.

During this event, we’ll explore 8 of the most interesting and atmospheric bars in the city, moving beyond the obvious spots and into places that reveal a more authentic and local side of Bruges. Expect variety: from timeless classics to more modern interpretations of Belgian beer culture.
