Who is the Taco Gallery?

Sandra is the Taco Gallery! This lovely Mexican lady has been living in Amsterdam for two years and is planning to open her own restaurant next year with authentic, Mexican food. OH YES! Our prayers have been answered, finally authentic Mexican cuisine in Amsterdam! She's going to give us a pre-taste of her menu and will tell you all about her wild plans for her restaurant during the event!

What's Tour de Yelp?

Yelp can be used worldwide - currently in 29 different countries! And all these different countries have The Three C's: Culture, Cuisine and Yelp Community.

Once a month, we take (sometimes literally) a glimpse into another kitchen in Amsterdam and of course always accompanied by good food and drink. AND we learn the Yelp communities in that country know better! With Yelp, we provide tips, tricks, sometimes videos and an understanding of the best businesses in the various Yelp cities. Because no one knows better what you need than locals, right?!

Fish taco Baja style

Battered cod topped with pico de gallo, cabbage slaw, green tomatillo and avocado sauce, chipotle cream and marinated red onions

Beef barbacoa

Slow cooked marinated beef topped with, pickle red onions

green tomatillo and avocado sauce and coriander

Marinated chicken with chipotle sauce

topped with fresh cheese

Roasted Poblano peppers (V)

with caramelized onion, corn and crème fraiche

Tacos are served in soft corn tortillas topped with authentic Mexican flavors and homemade salsas

Dessert

Flan casero / Homemade flan

Drinks - Lime, mint and cucumber cooler / Hibiscus water

Margaritas - Mix Berries / Classic lime - Exotic mango, ginger and spices
