Mushroom cycle trip!

Autumn is starting and although it is getting colder and darker, it's also the start of the mushroom season! :) Join us for for a cycle trip from Utrecht to the Kaapse Bossen and back, approximately 55 km in total.

The route takes us via the Kromme Rijn, Bunnik, Werkhoven and Langbroek towards the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. At the Kaapse Bossen, we’ll leave the bikes for a while and take a short walk through the forest to look for mushrooms and hopefully we will find many!

Afterwards, we’ll stop for lunch around Doorn, where there are also some mushroom dishes on the menu :) We’ll then cycle back to Utrecht via Driebergen and Bunnik.
The distance is approximately 55 km and we will cycle in a relaxed pace.

Just bring a good mood, your bicycle and rain gear (it is autumn after all.....). And there’s no rush, this is a social, enjoyable ride where the experience matters more than the speed.
