Do you usually try to motivate yourself with "tough love" or self-criticism? Are you hard on yourself when you fall short of achieving your goals (much harder than you would be on a friend who did the same)? Do you want to learn to motivate yourself in a way that feels supportive and caring, and helps you make lasting change?

This workshop is for you if you are ready to:
- Make a change in your life, whether that's personal, professional, or in a relationship
- Break a habit of self-criticism or judgement
- Start motivating yourself with more kindness and understanding, like you would a good friend.

Why we are offering this workshop:
When you are critical or judgemental towards yourself, you are much more likely to give up on your goals, especially when things get tough.
Whereas, when you are kind, use supportive words, and are compassionate towards yourself... change starts to feel easier, more natural, and less scary.

Research shows that using compassion towards ourselves makes us more resilient and more likely to stick to our goals.

We are offering a 1-hour workshop where you will learn:
- Why self-criticism does not help you change in the long run
- How to start encouraging yourself with compassion instead.

What to expect from the workshop:
- Group and individual exploration of how you usually motivate yourself, and why it might not be working!
- Simple compassion practices for use in daily life to motivate yourself and stick to your goals
- A supportive and welcoming environment, where you can meet like-minded people, ask questions, and share experiences in a judgement-free space.

Who is leading the workshop?
* Cagla Gunes is a certified Self-Compassion teacher, Trauma Therapist and Body Oriented (Somatic) Psychotherapist. Cagla's therapeutic approach helps people connect with what’s happening in their bodies, and connect to their emotions and daily life.
