When furniture salesman Clark discovers a hidden portal in the basement of his shop, he becomes trapped in another reality: the so-called Backrooms. His therapist tries to save him and discovers a mysterious labyrinth of abandoned office spaces that not only seem infinite but are also constantly changing. As time fades, something inhuman turns out to be lurking just out of sight as well.
