The Dutch Language Cafรฉ is the place in The Hague where people of many different nationalities can come together, feel at home, have fun, get to know each other and learn Dutch. All information can be found at: www.dutchlanguagecafe.com
Since July 2024, and thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign, we have our own cafรฉ in the centre of The Hague! Come by, drink coffee, play games, and have a chat, even outside of the usual events! We are open Wednesday to Saturday 11:00-23:00 and Sunday 12:00-17:00, and we're located at Herengracht 13A.

Tackle creative brain teasers with friends old and new as part of a global community. No competition, just satisfying problem-solving fun. This time, we also have pizza available to fuel those braincells ๐โ ๏ธ Important: Tonight we speak English! We're taking a break from Dutch at Dutch Language Cafe.... These puzzles involve complex wordplay, cryptic clues, and cultural references, so you'll need a good level of English. For non-native English speakers, it's a great chance to practise!
What is Puzzled Pint?
A worldwide puzzle event happening on the second Tuesday of each month. We host ours on the Saturday after the second Tuesday instead โ opening the cafรฉ just for you!
These aren't your typical sudoku or crosswords. Think creative challenges combining logic problems, cryptograms, word searches, riddles, and wordplay. Like escape rooms but on paper โ you'll need to figure out WHAT to do before you can solve them!How it works
- 18:00 Arrive, get settled, grab a drink
- 18:15 Form teams of 3-5 people (come with a team or alone)
- 18:20โ21:00 Solve puzzles together! Work at your own pace, ask for hints anytime. ๐ Pizza available at the bar!
