Social Bike Tour | SW | Amsterdamse Bos

We’re kicking off the 2026 Social Bike Tour season with a ride through the Amsterdamse Bos! With a bit of luck the nights and days leading up to March 14th will be nice and warm and the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom.

I’ll be at Screaming Beans, Waterlooplein by 10:00 am and we’ll hop on our bikes around 10:30 am to pedal our way to the Amsterdamse Bos.

The route is about 38 kilometers, perfect for soaking up those spring vibes (if we haven’t already).

Bring some snacks along. We’ll take breaks along the way and there’s a chance to visit a supermarket if needed. Halfway through we’ll also stop for about an hour at a cozy little restaurant in the Amsterdamse Bos.

Just bring your regular bike; we’ll be cruising at a relaxed pace, enjoying the beauty of Amsterdam while keeping an eye on traffic and each other. So that we have plenty of time to chat and socialize!
I expect we’ll wrap up the ride between 3:00 and 4:00 pm.

Sometimes we’ll end the day together with a drink on a terrace, and sometimes everyone heads home right away, we’ll see how things roll!

Since I cover costs for my Meetup membership, spend time planning the routes, and just want to keep my bike hobby rolling, I ask for a small contribution of €10 to join (usually via Tikkie). Of course, you’ll get a refund if the tour gets canceled for any reason.
